Directions
The wedding will be held at 275 Flat Creek Road, Fairview, NC.

Here are directions from some potential starting points:
From the Asheville airport:
(just over half an hour)
Head south towards Boylston Highway, approximately .4 miles. Take a slight right onto Fanning Bridge Road. In 2.2 miles, turn left onto Hendersonville Road. In .3 miles, take a right onto Cane Creek Road. You'll stay on Cane Creek Road for 8.6 miles - at one point, there is a slight jog in the road, but continue as straight as possible to stay on Cane Creek. When you reach US 74, turn right, and then take an almost immediate left onto Village Road, then another left onto Garren Creek Road. After a few miles, you will have to turn left to stay on Garren Creek. You will stay on Garren Creek for 6.5 miles, then turn left onto Flat Creek Road. The driveway is gravel and on the left, but the mailbox with the house number will be on the right hand side of the road. You cannot see the house from the road.
From the Charlotte airport:
(about 2 hours)
Follow the signs out of the airport to find I-85 South towards Gastonia. After 15 miles, take exit 17 US-321 towards Lincolnton. Stay on 321 for 32 miles, then take exit 43 to get on I-40 W towards Statesville and Asheville. From there, follow the directions below from I-40 and points east.
From downtown Asheville, I-240 and points west:
(about half an hour from town)
Take exit 9 from I-240 or exit 53 A from I-40. Both will put you on US-74 A East. From I-240, simple merge onto 74. From I-40, turn right at the end of the exit ramp. After almost 4 miles, turn left onto Old Fort Road. After 8 miles, turn right onto Flat Creek Road. After 1.3 miles, you will see the mailbox with the house number on the left hand side of the road. The gravel driveway is on the right. You cannot see the house from the entrance to the driveway.
From I-40 and points east:
Take exit 64 for NC-9 S. After .3 miles, turn left at NC-9. After another half mile, take a slight left to stay on NC-9, then continue for 4.7 miles. Turn right at Chestnut Hill Road, then, after 2.1 miles, turn left onto Flat Creek Road for 1.3 miles. The house is on the right, but the mailbox with the house number will be on the left hand side of the road. You cannot see the house from the entrance to the driveway.

If you want to camp...
Will's parents, Barb and Bill Allen, have been kind enough to allow us to completely invade and take over their home for the weekend of the wedding. They live on a beautiful piece of land in Fairview, about half an hour from downtown Asheville, and anyone who would like to camp out on their property after the ceremony Saturday night is welcome to do so. There's lots of space, and we'll have a late-night campfire and lots of fun. Bring a tent, maybe a tarp in case it's wet, a sleeping bag and warm clothes for the evening. If you need to borrow any equipment, let us know and we'll see if we can find them for you!
A note on gifts.
We think the idea of registering for wedding gifts is great for couples who are moving in together and setting up a new household, and therefore, need lots of new stuff. But if you've seen our house, you already know several things: one, it's very small, and two, it's already very full of stuff. We really don't need anything, and probably couldn't fit it in the house if we did need it. And besides, the very best gift you can give us is showing us how much you love us by travelling all the way to Asheville to celebrate with us.
That said, if you really feel inspired to give us a wedding gift, we are trying to save money to go on a honeymoon, and we won't say no to donations to the honeymoon fund. We have our destination narrowed down to someplace Spanish-speaking with a beach. In other words, we still have thousands of miles of Central American, South American, Caribbean, and European coastline to choose from. If you've been somewhere beautiful that matches that description, let us know! We'd love recommendations.
